ISO 9001&14001 Standarisation

The company operates on the basis of an Integrated Quality Management System compliant with the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, the quality certificates obtained in 2000-2001. We also hold a certificate confirming the compliance of mine air conditioning equipment with EU directives. Our company was among the first enterprises in Poland to obtain certification of compliance with the new ISO 9001:2008 standard (English version).

 

 

 

 

 

 

KGHM Cuprum Ltd Research and Development Centre is one of the few Polish companies holding certification for an Integrated Quality and Environment Management System to be awarded the Pantheon of Polish Ecology prize, established by the Minister of the Environment and the Director of the Polish Centre for Testing Certification.

 

Our company was selected to conduct and supervise the implementation of ISO standards at divisions of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. In connection with this, KGHM Cuprum specialists consult, train, plan and assist in implementation of ISO 9001 and 14001 standards at:

• the 'Głogów' smelter (an integrated system of quality and environmental protection compliant with ISO 9001 and 14001)

• the 'Legnica' smelter (implementation of an environmental management system in line with ISO 14001 into a previously certified system of quality and workplace safety management)

 

The effectiveness of the activity towards implementation which KGHM Cuprum coordinates was confirmed by the granting of ISO 9001 and 14001 certification to the smelters.
